Then Sunday night I was at Radio City for a PBS benefit concert. I photographed some of the overlooked architectural features, especially a cubist (Picasso) style painting by Stuart Davis that is in the entrance way to the men's room of all places. Note the male theme of cigars, playing cards, cigarettes, barber shop pole, etc. It's entitled 'Men Without Women'. Apparently the painting was in Radio City at the time of its opening, then was in the Museum of Modern Art for some years, and recently returned to Radio City.
Also, throughout the buidling, the Art Deco/cubist carpet has musical designs in it - note the guitar, banjo, and saxaphone.
