Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, NJ 2008-07-16

 

About halfway between Princeton and Trenton NJ is the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds in Hamilton, NJ.    This location hosted an annual state fair for over 100 years until it stopped in 1970.    Later on a non-profit group converted it into an outdoor sculpture garden as you can see below.

This interesting outdoor sculpture is based on a painting by Renoir called 'The Luncheon of the Boating Party', the painting of which is in Washington, as indicated below in this Wikipedia clip.
