American Museum of Natural History - Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids  2008-01-07

Were you curious about those subway posters advertising this exhibit at AMNH ?   I believe the exhibit just closed.     This was an interesting display of mythical creatures and their manifestation in religion and other objects, such as griffins, dragons, mermaids, and unicorns.   Some are based on reality such as the Giant Squid.   Others are myths about real animals such as the bird and snake.
